Before you transform your window.
Is clear mode identical to bare glass?
No. PDLC smart film is transparent when powered on, but a slight natural haze remains. That is normal for the technology.
Which state is private if the power goes out?
The film defaults to frosted privacy mode when power is off. It becomes clear while powered on.
How should I measure?
Measure the exact finished width and height of the film. Do not include the window frame. VEILUMO does not automatically subtract clearance.
Can I choose where the wire exits?
Yes. Select the cable exit position in the measurement module before adding the product to cart.
Can I install it myself?
Careful DIY installation is possible. Large panels are easier with two people. For electrical routing or humid areas, use a qualified installer.
Can it be installed in a bathroom?
Only with proper professional edge sealing and protected electrical connections. Water ingress is not covered by the warranty.
How long does delivery take?
The current estimate for custom production and US delivery is 6–12 working days. This is not a guaranteed arrival date.
Can I return a custom-cut panel?
Made-to-measure panels normally cannot be restocked. Review your measurements carefully before ordering.
